Hello! I write about global affairs and geopolitics for The Economist. I am particularly interested in the intersection of China, technology and security.

I completed my undergraduate studies in government and economics at Harvard and was a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing.

I occasionally appear on podcasts and The Economist's Insider programmes. I also contribute to the Australia in the World podcast of the Australian National University.
